ABOUT US

The United Pipe Clubs of America (UPCA) was organized in 2002 as a national federation of pipe clubs in the United States. Its purpose is to promote and protect the interests of the American pipe smoking community by encouraging and assisting in the formation of local pipe clubs and actively supporting their activities, including pipe shows and pipe smoking competitions.  The UPCA annually sponsors national and regional pipe smoking contests.

Don't miss out on a chance to raise awareness of your pipe club.  Participate in International Pipe Smoking Day.  Let your members know that this is the day to show your solidarity with pipe smokers around the world. 

Take this opportunity to shoot photos of your club members smoking their pipes.  If you do, please post them on the UPCA Facebook Page.


First Pipe Show of the Year

The St. Louis Pipe Show will be held on Saturday, February 18th. Admission is free and vendor tables are still available.  See the St. Louis Pipe Club's page for more details.

2017 UPCA National Pipe Smoking Contest - 5/7/17

The 2017 US national pipe smoking championship was held May 7, 2016 at the Chicago pipe show. Ninety-five people competed in the contest.

The American winner was Raymond Lykins with a time of 1 hr. 21 min. and 19 sec. The overall winner was Alexy Shekhovtsov from the St. Petersburg (Russia) Pipe Club with a time of 1:25:11.  Scottie Piersel won the women's division with a time of 00:33:59. The St. Petersburg pipe club won the team competition.
