2023 Contest Pipe and Tobacco

The following pipe and tobacco have been chosen to be used in the UPCA National Smoking Contest on 4/30/2023.

2023 Contest Pipe - Chacom "Skipper" Billiard

This year's contest pipe is a sandblast billiard (shape 342) made by Chacom with a brass military mount and an acrylic bit. It is stamped "UPCA Chicago 2023".

2023 Contest Tobacco - Country Squire Contest Blend

The Country Squire was given the honor of crafting the 2023 UPCA blend for the slow smoke contest for the Chicago Pipe Show. They have designed a Virginia Burley mixture that offers a naturally sweet smoke with tasting notes that are bready, oaky, citrusy, vinegary, vegetal, and savory.

Components: Red Virginia, Burley, and Stoved Virginia
